Best Delegate Model UN Conferences welcomes youth between the age of 11 and 18 from North America, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and Oceania who have experience in Model UN or have high interest in global affairs and the United Nations.
Advisors must register delegates who are currently attending a middle school or high school.
Middle school and high school committees will operate separately, except for the opening ceremonies and closing ceremonies.
Delegates must register as part of a group.
High school groups are required to be accompanied by at least one faculty advisor.
BDMUNC also welcomes advisors who have a role in planning and organizing a MUN conferences and teachers who use Model UN in their education curriculum.
Registration Types and Fees
All registration are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once maximum capacity is reached, Delegates will be able to register to be placed on a waitlist.
All registration is conducted through the Formstack form in the Registration page for BDMUNC 2019.
Priority registration period is from November 11 to December 15, 2018.
Regular registration period is from December 15, 2018 to January 15, 2019(Extended to February 22nd, 2019).
The fee for delegation groups is $99 per group, which includes attendance for one faculty advisor for free.
The fee for each delegate who is part of a group is $119 per delegate during Priority Registration or $139 per delegate during Regular Registration.
The fee for additional advisors, chaperones, or observers is $99 per individual.
Discounted accommodation packages for three nights (check-in March 14, 2019, check-out March 17, 2019) may only be purchased through the BDMUNC registration process. Groups may purchase Room Packages for $599 each, inclusive of hotel taxes and fees during Priority Registration and $659 each, inclusive of hotel taxes and fees during Regular Registration.
Payment can be made through credit card, check, or other if needed based on the information communicated to advisors through email with Best Delegate.
Privacy and Intellectual Property
BDMUNC reserves the right to utilize all data submitted by individuals to Best Delegate and BDMUNC and to collect data in the form of photographs or videos during the conference and social events without limitations.
All registrants agree that no data, results, and materials for use in BDMUNC 2019 will be disseminated by means of publications, reports, conferences, or any other form without the express written consent from Best Delegate of which these products, data, results, and materials are its exclusive property.
Best Delegate and BDMUNC reserve the right to update and change information on the official website, conference program, and social media platforms without further notice.
Code of Conduct
The registrant hereby certifies by completing the registration process that all information submitted is truthful and accurate. The registrant understands that falsification of any information provided will disqualify him or her from participation in BDMUNC and future Best Delegate activities, and falsification of information or impersonation will result in legal actions.
Participant agrees that all materials produced for this conference will be original work. Plagiarism will not be tolerated at BDMUNC, and should the BDMUNC Secretariat discover instances of plagiarism, the individual will be disqualified from the conference without refund.
Participants are expected and obliged to obey the laws of the United States of America while participating in BDMUNC. Participants are personally responsible for all charges and damage to facilities of the conference and social events venues.
Participant understands full assumption of risk and acknowledges that Best Delegate, and its members, officers, elected representatives and employees, including the BDMUNC student Secretariat team, do not assume any responsibility for the conduct and activities of the participant.
Participants agree to accept and abide by the Code of Conduct published in the Conference Handbook and decided by the BDMUNC Secretary-General.
BDMUNC Financial Aid Policies
Limited aid is available based on financial need.
An application is not a guarantee of financial aid.
Financial Aid will only be able to cover delegate or advisor fees.
Optional Add-Ons such as housing are NOT covered by financial aid. The applicant must choose to pay for these add-ons themselves only if desired.
